American Traveler is hiring an RN
- Operating Room for a 10-week winter coverage assignment requiring an active CT or compact RN license and the ability to independently circulate cardiac surgery.

• Operating Room unit within a Level I Trauma academic medical center
• Day shifts including 1x12 (7:00-19:00) and 3x8 (7:00-15:00) hour options
• Call responsibilities in NPOR during weekdays and SPOR on weekends and holidays
• Typical call schedule includes about 4 weekday calls and 1 weekend call (Saturday and Sunday) per 4-week period
• Weekend work required
• Uses Epic for charting
• Scrubs provided by facility

• Active RN license (CT or Compact) required, pending license accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience required; 2 years preferred for specialty submission (1.5 years accepted with Level I trauma or travel experience)
• Must demonstrate Level 4 proficiency in both ENT and Neuro surgical procedures
• Must be able to independently circulate cardiac surgery cases
• Travel experience required
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred

• This is a short-term 10-week contract for winter coverage only
• Must be available to start by 12/18/2026
• No RTO allowed on holidays and no more than 5 total RTO days permitted during the assignment
• Local radius restriction is waived specifically for this 10-week assignment
• Previous staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
• Flu vaccination is required with no declinations accepted
• COVID-19 vaccination exemptions accepted only for religious or medical reasons
• Travelers may be required to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
