Our client is a long-established manufacturer specializes in designing and producing custom industrial heating solutions—everything from band heaters and cartridge heaters to ovens, furnaces and air-cooled heating systems. With a legacy spanning over 100 years, they serve a broad range of industries including plastics processing, packaging, chemical, and aerospace, and pride themselves on rapid quoting, flexible engineering, and trusted, high-quality manufacturing support.
The Sales Representative is a strategic, outside sales role focused on driving new revenue growth through proactive lead generation, market development, and customer relationship building. The role requires collaborating closely with Inside Sales, management, and technical teams to expand our customer base and support key accounts primarily in the U.S. and Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, prospect, and qualify new leads and markets for Industrial Heater products.
- Develop and manage sales pipeline from initial contact to close.
- Present product solutions that address customer needs, prepare quotes and proposals, and close sales.
- Oversee product demonstrations and support new client onboarding processes.
- Build and maintain strong customer and distributor relationships, including OEMs and processors.
- Participate in trade shows and industry events for lead generation and market intelligence.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and timely communication with the sales team and management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment sales, preferably in a technical or plastics-related field.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing new business.
- Strong skills in prospecting, qualifying (BANT criteria), negotiating, and closing sales.
- Ability to engage and sell to managerial and decision-making levels within customer organizations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and collaborative team player aligned with company core values of consistency, precision, customer commitment, adaptability, and teamwork.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and work from the office.

-variable commission $50k (OTE $120k)
