Overview
Assistant Boys Basketball Coach position at New Haven Public Schools.
Location:
Physical Education/Health/Athletics, Floyd Little Athletic Center, New Haven, CT.
Certification requirements:
Must possess and maintain the certification requirements as established by Connecticut State Statutes, including State of CT Coaching Permit (Module 15) Concussion Management/CPR and First Aid.
• Certification as required by Connecticut State Statutes (Coaching Permit and related certifications).
Responsibilities- Provide coaching support for boys basketball programs (Freshman, JV, and related intramural roles as listed below).
- Contribute to the development and execution of practice plans, game strategy, and player development.
- Collaborate with school staff to promote student-athlete growth, safety, and engagement.
- Will be paid via a coaching stipend.
