School Bus Driver (Part‑time) – New Haven, CT
Join First Student as a Part‑time School Bus Driver. You’ll be responsible for early‑morning before‑school pickup and after‑school drop‑off, ensuring students arrive safely. This split shift guarantees a 4‑hour shift each school day, with additional hours available through trips, charters, and summer school routes.
Responsibilities- Early‑morning before‑school pickup and after‑school drop‑off on a split shift.
- Guidance of all students and passengers on the bus, maintaining safety.
- Documenting any incidents or road conditions as required.
- Cooperating with other team members and following company training and policies.
- At least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 3 years.
- No prior bus‑driver experience required; paid CDL training is provided.
- Ability to work mornings, with no mandatory night or weekend hours unless desired.
- Hourly pay ranging from $24.96 to $34.13 based on experience.
- 9 paid holidays.

- 40 hours of paid sick time per year.
