School Bus Driver (Part‑time) – New Haven, CT

Join First Student as a Part‑time School Bus Driver. You’ll be responsible for early‑morning before‑school pickup and after‑school drop‑off, ensuring students arrive safely. This split shift guarantees a 4‑hour shift each school day, with additional hours available through trips, charters, and summer school routes.

Responsibilities
  • Early‑morning before‑school pickup and after‑school drop‑off on a split shift.
  • Guidance of all students and passengers on the bus, maintaining safety.
  • Documenting any incidents or road conditions as required.
  • Cooperating with other team members and following company training and policies.
Eligibility & Qualifications
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 3 years.
  • No prior bus‑driver experience required; paid CDL training is provided.
  • Ability to work mornings, with no mandatory night or weekend hours unless desired.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Hourly pay ranging from $24.96 to $34.13 based on experience.
  • 9 paid holidays.
