Retail Scan Associate (New Hope, AL 35760)

We’re seeking part‑time Retail Scan Associates to visit a selection of stores each week and scan product barcodes on displays and aisle locations, including end caps. Your data will be analyzed to improve sales performance for major retailers.

This is a permanent, part‑time role that counts 11‑15 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and can accommodate your personal needs. The job involves continuous physical activity.

Store Types:

Available Workdays:
Wednesday or Thursday

You will visit assigned local retailers every week (52 weeks a year) to perform in‑store data collection using a mobile app. About 45% of scanned products require you to provide quantity. The data feeds major brand retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons, and others.

Your typical week involves:

• Report to your store by the specified deadline.
• Complete Display Scanning for the entire store each week.
• Participate in Custom Projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work when requested.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain data quality.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach up to 6 feet.
• Capacity for repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
• Access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
