Mental Health Therapist to join our School-Based Mental Health team at our Spero Academy location
. The Mental Health Therapist applies evidence-based practices in providing an array of services to support client recovery, and facilitates safe, therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic and comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment planning, resourcing and referring clients, and engaging and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders involved in clients’ care. The person in this position may also provide clinical supervision throughout the larger organization for those working towards professional degrees or clinical licensure.
Schedule: Part-time (0.5 FTE), 20 hours per week, Monday–Thursday from 8:30am-4:00pm, aligned with an 11-month school calendar.

Hiring Range: Salary variable on licensure and qualifications. Salary below reflects .5
FTE hiring range.
- Unlicensed: $28,000 - $31,000, plus $1,000 hiring bonus for external candidates
- Licensed: $37,000 - $40,000, plus $2,000 hiring bonus for external candidates
Job Duties
- Developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with children, parents, and other family members
- Conducting individual therapy and, as needed, conducting family and group therapies
- Creating and implementing treatment plans and regularly evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans
