Caregiver role at Comfort Keepers Victoria in the Golden Valley/New Hope area. Comfort Keepers provides uplifting in-home care for seniors and other adults who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance in their homes. As a caregiver, you will be supported by a team of caring professionals who help deliver one-on-one care that meets clients' needs and enhances their quality of life.

The ideal candidate must care for clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, joy and respect, and remain empathetic to clients at all times.

• Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands or provide transportation if needed. Accompany clients to appointments and assist with medications. Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming.
• Companionship – Provide companionship, activities and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.
• Personal care and mobility assistance – Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene and mobility assistance.

• High school diploma preferred
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for long periods
