Position: Medical Assistant
Locations: Elk River, Robbinsdale, St. Anthony, Golden Valley, Fridley, Minneapolis, Roseville, New Hope and Brooklyn Center, MN
Hourly Range: $20.00 - $26.00 (based on experience)
Salary Range: $41,600 - $54,080
Additional Notes:
- LPNs are also accepted for these positions with a salary range of $23.75/hour - $33/hour.
Job Description:
The Medical Assistant at our urgent care facility will manage customer flow and assist providers in customer management and treatment. They will work with customers of all ages, from infants to geriatrics, providing individualized care. The role involves collaborative, supportive, and delegated tasks within the scope of practice. Tasks include standard rooming processes, administering immunizations and medications, and performing laboratory specimen collection.
The Medical Assistant also provides clinical support such as telephone support, prescription refills, x‑ray duties (if certified), phlebotomy, and clinic laboratory tests. Additionally, they provide clinic support including front desk/check‑in support, stocking supplies, and assistance with prior authorizations.

- High School graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Medical Assistant certification
- Previous experience in a clinical setting
