** Controls Technician – Food Manufacturing** **- Weekends** (Friday-Sunday) at our
** New Hope, MN
** pasta production facility. We are offering a salary of $36.00 per hour.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
* Support automation systems across production, packaging, and material handling equipment.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical and controls-related issues to minimize downtime.
* Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
· Maintain PLC and HMI program backups and documentation.
* Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.  
** Required Qualifications
*** High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
* Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Automation Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 3 years of controls, automation, or industrial electrical experience.
* Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.
* Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Leadership or team lead experience.
* Strong communication skills.
* Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and food manufacturing systems.
* Food manufacturing experience.
· Allen-Bradley PLC and Factory Talk experience.
· Knowledge of industrial networking systems.  
** Physical Requirements
*** Lift up to 50 lbs.
* Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
* Work in hot, humid, cold, and dusty environments.
* Climb ladders and work from lifts at heights up to 35+ feet.
