LPN - WOW Weekends

Saint Therese of New Hope, a multi-campus, non-profit, spiritual based health care organization, is seeking a manager for our residence dining. The New Hope location has a full continuum of care with about 275 independent and assisted living apartments, which the residence dining serves.

Saint Therese of New Hope is currently seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to work weekends only. This includes 3 out of 4 weekends per month. A weekend shift consists of both Saturday and Sunday. Flexibility is preferred.

• Works under direction of the residence nursing manager to provide services for nursing clients, respond to tenant emergencies and medical concerns.
• Understands the concept of and is committed to the mission of Saint Therese Home.
• Performs client care.
• Serves as back-up for specific responsibilities of other positions.
• Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development.
• Performs all job functions within state and federal regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Must be currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota.
• One to three years of Long-Term Care (LTC), Home Health, or Assisted Living Facility experience.
• Strong understanding of and interest in Palliative/Hospice care.
• Professional behavior and attitude.
• Demonstrated ability to make appropriate professional judgments.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and related software.
• Ability to follow directions of Supervisor.
