We are seeking a Behavioral Health Attendant to work under the supervision and guidance of professional staff, providing observation of patients and performing necessary patient care activities to meet patients’ personal needs and comfort.

• High school graduate

• Previous experience preferred, but not required

• Basic knowledge of the nursing process and nursing principles
• CPR certification

• Demonstrates respect for patients and families
• Maintains and protects confidentiality regarding all aspects of patient care
• Functions as a positive role model for peers and promotes a professional image of Iberia Medical Center
• Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of patient and organizational data
• Consistently lives by Iberia Medical Centers Standards of Performance
• Adheres to the Patient Safety Goals
• Assists patients with eating, mobility, dressing, and toileting
• Assists staff with obtaining and recording vital signs
