Home Instead is looking for a part-time On Call Coordinator!

The On Call Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of on-call duties. On Call Coordinators will work closely with the Service Coordinators to provide high-quality service to clients during nights, weekends, and holidays. Weekend and holiday work will be scheduled based on the company's needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Reflect the core values of Home Instead.
• Review the schedule with the Service Coordinator before each on-call shift and identify potential issues.

Support scheduling future shifts, including caregivers for weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Obtain necessary resources for on-call duties (personal cell phone, Wi-Fi, computer).

Answer incoming calls professionally and respond promptly to needs.

• Fill client shifts following office scheduling procedures.

Communicate shift changes to clients and caregivers, contact backup persons for client or caregiver issues, and report concerns to the owner or designated personnel.

• Monitor and log client and caregiver activities, follow up on assignments, and document in the system.

Handle new client and caregiver inquiries over the phone and schedule care consultations.

• Create activity logs for each shift and communicate with key personnel.
