The New Iberia facility specializes in cold box assembly and fabrication, pressure vessels and other cryogenic equipment as used for the air separation and hydrocarbon industries. The end users of this equipment include all the major LNG, petrochemical and air separation engineering on a worldwide basis. The facility is located at the Port of Iberia.

• Assist in developing and implementing shop standards and improvements
• Provide instruction on fitting techniques, proper tools and proper procedures
• Assist in developing and presenting formatted training materials
• Work independently in all areas of the shop with fitters and welders to raise the level of quality in fitting and solving problems
• Identify opportunities for technology improvements
• Make training recommendations to supervisors
• Provide follow up reports to production supervision on observed deficiencies in fitting
• Identify fit up issues rapidly and address them quickly
• Promote safety, honesty and integrity on the job
• Required to work at elevated heights up to 75 ft
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned

• Must have thorough knowledge of departmental operations
• Must have full support of safety procedures
• Must have thorough knowledge of shop standards
• Must be able to communicate professionally with people at all levels and remain calm and objective
• Be a self-starter, creative thinker, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must have good communication skills, especially orally. Able to present to a small group
• Some computer skills and familiarity with Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
• Classification level of Fitter A1 is required
