Location:

New Iberia, LA, 70560

• Routine and preventative maintenance of all equipment, welding equipment, fabrication machinery, building and grounds.
• Assist in the maintenance records of planned and actual service dates and materials used.
• Assist in the maintenance of inspection records.
• Assist in electrical work in shop and main building area under direction of a Maintenance Technician II possessing a current state electrical license.
• Work at elevated heights up to 75ft.
• Must pass hazardous material handling safety training (DOT HM 126
  
  F) and fall protection equipment inspection safety training (NFPA 70
  
  E).
• Additional duties may be assigned.

• Stooping, kneeling, standing/walking.
• Driving.
• Pushing/pulling/lifting 0‑50 lbs.
• Use of electrical equipment.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The required qualifications include:

• Experience or education in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work at heights up to 75 ft.
• Completion of hazardous material handling safety training and fall protection equipment inspection safety training.
• State electrical license or ability to be supervised by licensed technician.
