SAVARD Personnel Group is seeking experienced Tug Boat Captains for operations in New Iberia, Louisiana. These professionals will operate a 25.9' tug, maneuvering and transporting barges throughout the Port of Iberia. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, have strong communication skills, and are comfortable working outdoors with varying duties throughout the year.
Perks & Benefits- Up to $3575 per week
- Direct hire, full-time position
- Opportunities to work in a dynamic marine environment
- Previous tug boat or work boat operating experience
- Previous barge-handling experience
- Ability to safely maneuver and handle barges in confined areas
- Strong communication and safety awareness
- Ability to work outdoors and assist with other operational duties
- USCG Master of Towing Vessels endorsement or applicable MMC preferred, but not required
