Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Bogota, NJ

A growing organization in Bogota, NJ is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Controller to support all financial operations. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong bookkeeping, accounting, and financial management skills. Proficiency in Quick Books and Excel is essential. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, works collaboratively, and maintains a professional, positive demeanor. Experience in real estate development is highly preferred.

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Maintain accurate financial records within Quick Books
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Perform bank reconciliations, oversee expense tracking, and manage cash flow
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings and compliance
• Provide financial insights to support leadership and organizational decision-making

• 3–5 years of professional bookkeeping and accounting experience
• Required proficiency in Quick Books and Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Professional, organized, and collaborative working style
• Real estate development experience strongly preferred
