Location: Branchburg, NJ (On-site, hybrid after acclimated)

About the Role:
Our client, a dynamic and growing organization in the Branchburg, NJ area, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a hands‑on role responsible for full‑cycle accounting and financial reporting, supporting month‑and‑year‑end close activities, cash management, forecasting, and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

• Manage full month- and year-end close
  , including balance sheet and P&L analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Handle monthly intercompany/subsidiary billings and quarterly intercompany reconciliations
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and monthly bank and investment account reconciliations
• Conduct weekly cash analysis and forecasting
• Collaborate with Project Managers and the Controller for monthly receivables review and follow‑up
• Support monthly forecasting and prepare financial reports and analysis for quarterly business development meetings
• Prepare and file multi-state sales tax returns (monthly/quarterly/annual)
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
• Cross‑train across accounting functions and support ad hoc projects, schedules, analysis, and reporting as needed

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  ; CPA preferred
• Experience in both public accounting and private industry is highly desirable
• Strong work ethic, detail‑oriented, organized, professional, and reliable
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment
• Advanced Excel skills required; familiarity with Microsoft Teams environment preferred
