$85k - $90k
Position OverviewThe Staff Accountant will join an existing team to assist with tax season in early 2026. A focus in this role will be preparing personal and business tax returns for small business clients.
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant- The Staff Accountant will prepare tax returns for various clients.
- Generate yearly tax projections.
- Analyze the balance sheet as well as the P&L.
- Take charge of monthly reconciliations.
- Assist with journal entries to the general ledger.
- 2+ years of prior public accounting/staff accountant experience.
- 2+ years of prior tax preparation experience.
- CPA is a plus.
- Knowledge of Quick Books and Ultra-Tax is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
