We are a growing Bergen County CPA firm seeking a Senior Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in a CPA firm.
CPA preferred, not required with strong skills in accounting, auditing, workpaper and financial statement preparation for commercial real estate partnerships, construction companies, manufacturers, distributors, and other closely held businesses. Related tax experience is a plus.

• Prepare accounting work papers for compilation and review engagements; perform audit procedures.
• Assist, as needed, in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns for related partnerships, S‑corporations, C‑corporations, and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with firm team members.
• Supervise staff as needed.
• Support planning, projections, and transactional matters.

• Minimum 5 years experience in a CPA firm.
• Strong competency with accounting and financial statement preparation.
• Relevant audit and accounting experience.
• Experience with real‑estate, construction, and manufacturing clients strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements.
• Solid working knowledge of CCH Engagement and CCH Pro System fx.
