  • Demonstrated knowledge of building products and the construction industry

  • Proven ability in collections processes
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with Sage 300 is an advantage

The Accounts Receivable/Customer Service Specialist will manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable, from order entry to invoicing, maintaining customer records, and ensuring timely collections. The Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team, reviewing sales orders, and processing necessary credit applications, ensuring that all orders are accurate and handled efficiently.

Responsibilities include but are not limited **

  • Providing vital support to the outside sales team
  • Preparing and processing sales orders
  • Coordinating with the Purchasing Manager and Dispatcher on material needs and delivery timelines
  • Engaging with customers daily to provide updates on orders and deliveries
  • Resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly
  • Handling daily invoicing and bank deposits
  • Managing Accounts Receivable collections

  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable and collections
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on accuracy
  • Prior experience with building or masonry materials is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
