Tax Manager

Location: Parsippany

DescriptionA growing regional mid-size CPA firm in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Tax Manager. There is a track to becoming a Partner.

Responsibilities include:

* Preparation/review of complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
* Preparation/review of high-net-worth individual returns
* Review of C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
* Review of complex individual returns
* Will research and draft memorandum involving tax matters
* Identify tax planning opportunities
* Handle and resolve tax controversies
* Training and supervision of staff. This role will work on a variety of industries

Requirements
* Accounting degree or similar
* CPA* 6 + years of public accounting tax experience for mainly corporations and Partnerships;
High-net worth Individual tax experience is a big plus
* Prior experience in managing, mentoring and leading teams, demonstrating effective leadership abilities
* Proficient project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
* Outstanding collaboration, communication, organization, and analytical skills
