SALARY:The salary range for this position is $50,417.50 to $79,471.38 for Schedule A, and $50,417.50 to $71,144.74 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the range. For current Judiciary employees salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5 % of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
Judiciary employees hired before August 20, 2014 are considered Schedule A, newly hired individuals or those hired on or after that date are considered Schedule B.

Position:Clerk to the Grand Jury
The selected candidate will support jury management and court operations functions under the general direction of the Court Executive 2B (Operations Division Manager) and the direct supervision of the Court Executive 1b (Jury Manager). The individual will be highly motivated, team‑ and customer service‑oriented, flexible, adaptable, and responsive.
Duties:- Interacting with and providing excellent customer service to court users, judges, colleagues and county personnel over the phone, in person and on video technology.
- Recording confidential court proceedings.
- Establishing and/or maintaining record‑keeping and tracking spreadsheets.
- Maintaining accurate logs and a record of the juror vote.
- Accessing the Jury Management System database to process, record and update juror records.
- Assisting with juror check‑in both online and in‑person.
- Explaining judiciary policies or procedures to jurors.
- Assessing and responding to juror technology needs.
- Answering questions posed by judges, the public, co‑workers, and/or supervisors.
- Updating and maintaining data in various databases.
- Responding to facilities/room requests.
- Assisting with interpreter coordination.
- Processing court audio requests.
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Hosting court proceedings via internet platforms.
- Records destruction.
- Distributing forms and publications for court users.
- Other duties as assigned.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is helpful and knowledge of virtual platforms including Zoom and Teams is strongly preferred.
Requirements:- Three years of experience performing a variety of clerical and support services to include keyboarding and one or more of the following: document or information processing, handling payments for fees, recording monies received, reconciling balances or accounts, and/or scheduling meetings or appointments.
- Ability to use a keyboard, no minimum speed.
- Physical Ability: ability to climb, stand for prolonged periods, stretch, bend and reach; frequent lifting and carrying supplies weighing from 30 to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
- Driver’s License: required if operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties.
- Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Must be authorized to work in the US under Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.
