Franklin Twp YMCA is looking for great individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of school-aged children. Under the direction of the Associate Program Director and Senior Program Director, the Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising a group of children at the site‑specific location, creating relationships with children and parents, and providing a safe, pleasant and caring atmosphere during the school year.

• Plan, prepare and implement daily activities for groups of 15–50 children
• Create innovative games and activities to keep children engaged
• Supervise all activities, including field trips, leading games and other group activities
• Establish relationships with children and their parents
• Engage each camper by name and communicate to ensure quality, fun and a safe experience
• Coach and guide site assistants/counselors and children throughout the day
• Communicate group needs with leadership and report incidents to parents
• Maintain group belongings and necessary supplies (binder, student information sheets, first aid kit)
• Handle all behavior, medical and other incidents within the group, requesting assistance as needed
• Embrace YMCA Core values:

• Attend trainings, seminars and meetings as required
• Adhere to YMCA values and educate members about the mission and goals

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have at least 2 years of experience working with children ages 5–13
• Experience overseeing staff preferred
• Knowledge of current education practices
• Must be able to work with minimal on‑site supervision

• Monday–Friday (Before Care) – 7:00 am to 9:30 am (varies by school location)
• Monday–Friday (Aftercare) – 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm (varies by school location)
