A Day in the Role

• Early coordination:
  Review schedules, allocate crews, and align equipment for multiple active sites.
• Yard readiness:
  Walk the equipment yard to confirm machines are maintained, organized, and ready for dispatch.
• Logistics:
  Schedule and track equipment transfers to and from job locations.
• Maintenance oversight:
  Partner with mechanics on planned service, repairs, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Safety leadership:
  Set the tone on site—reinforce company safety standards and protocols.
• Project sync:
  Coordinate with project managers to match manpower, equipment, and resources to field needs.
• Site prep:
  Support staging, site readiness, and on-the-ground logistics.
• Progress tracking:
  Monitor activities and submit clear field reports.

What You’ll Own

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day work of field crews across active sites.
• Oversee the equipment yard to ensure availability, organization, and dispatch readiness.
• Coordinate equipment mobilization/demobilization between the yard and projects.
• Work closely with mechanics to manage maintenance schedules, repairs, and service logs.
• Champion on-site safety standards and compliance.
• Communicate with project managers to align staffing, equipment, and resources.
• Assist in logistics planning, staging, and site setup.
• Track job progress and provide timely field reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in heavy civil construction or equipment operations.
• Proven leadership supervising field teams.
• Hands‑on familiarity with heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret plans and schedules.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
