Cost Estimator

Summary

The Estimator supports the Lead Estimator in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for exterior siding and roofing projects. This role involves reviewing project specifications, assembling proposals, and ensuring all estimates are thorough, timely, and aligned with internal standards. Ideal for someone detail-oriented with a foundational understanding of construction or estimating and a strong desire to grow.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare estimates according to established bid schedules.
• Communicate with customers throughout the bidding process and send RFIs when clarification is needed.
• Review plans and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Create detailed written proposals outlining full project scope, inclusions, and exclusions.
• Follow up with customers after bid submissions and work toward closing deals.
• Maintain accurate, updated bid information within the CRM system.
• Use tools such as Hover and other estimating software during the bid process.
• Support the estimating team with related tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (construction or estimating background preferred).
• Strong written communication skills for emails and proposals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with software such as Plan Swift, Service Titan, Auto Desk, Hover, or Adobe is a plus (training provided).

Additional Requirements

• Full-time, on-site role with occasional extended hours to meet deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
