Site Safety Manager (Full-time, On-site)
Richard
E. Pierson Construction Co., Inc. in the Baltimore area is seeking a Site Safety Manager to implement and monitor safety policies and procedures, conduct new hire safety orientations, perform hazard assessments, ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, investigate workplace accidents, participate in progress meetings, and recommend preventative measures to minimize risks. The Site Safety Manager will collaborate with various teams to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA and MOSH safety standards
- Experience in safety management and conducting sessions for employees
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills to ensure workplace safety
- Certifications such as OSHA 510, 500 or other safety‑related credentials preferred
- Experience in the civil construction industry
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members of various trades/positions
