Construction Project Manager II

The Construction Project Manager II is responsible for planning, managing, and supervising the execution of construction projects while balancing budget, quality, and schedule. This role is deployed on multiple projects whose duration extends 3 to 12 months, includes multiple subcontractors, and multiple disciplines scope of work.

Responsibilities

Planning, managing, and supervising the execution of construction projects while balancing budget, quality, and schedule. The role involves coordinating detailed phases of projects, managing time, and collaborating with multiple subcontractors and disciplines for projects lasting 3 to 12 months.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree required in a field related to construction (engineering, architecture) or equivalent related work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a role performing project management job functions for construction projects. Experience in building infrastructure and/or energy reduction initiatives required.
  • Additional certifications (CEM, LEED AP, EIT, or PE) also a plus.
  • Proficient with planning, scheduling, and coordinating detailed phases of projects.
  • Proficient with time management to follow the various detailed phases of projects.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office. CAD experience a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to think quickly to resolve problems in real time, organizational skills, and close attention to detail are also important.
