The Kalpagian Agency is seeking a Customer Relations Representative who excels at providing outstanding service while confidently identifying opportunities to improve coverage for existing customers. In this role, every service interaction is also a chance to protect families more fully and support our agency’s long-term growth.
This position requires both Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses
. If you are not yet fully licensed,
we will support you through the licensing process
—but full licensure will be required to continue in the role.
As a Customer Relations Representative, you will be the first point of contact for policyholders—resolving questions, processing updates, and ensuring customers feel valued and supported. At the same time, you’ll conduct coverage check-ins and recommend additional products when appropriate, ensuring customers are properly protected while contributing to the agency’s success.
Responsibilities- Manage customer inquiries related to billing, policy changes, coverage, and claims
- Maintain accurate and detailed customer records
- Conduct proactive policy reviews to identify coverage gaps or unmet needs
- Recommend additional insurance products when appropriate to enhance protection
- Support retention efforts by strengthening relationships and delivering exceptional service
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a seamless, positive customer experience
- Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (or willingness to obtain both with agency support)
- Previous service experience in insurance preferred
- Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional while assisting customers
- Comfortable pivoting service conversations into needs-based product recommendations
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
