Responsible for general clinic administrative work and maintenance, as well as completing lab work under the direction of a dentist.

• Prepares the examination room for appointments by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the dentist
• Assists the dentist during their procedure by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs throughout the appointment
• Greets patients as they arrive
• Updates and maintains the patients dental records
• Takes and processes x‑rays of patients
• Schedules patient appointments
• Takes billing and insurance details from patients
• Advises patients on recommended oral hygiene
• Assists pediatric dental hygienist as needed
• Obtains consent from parents

• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers
• Ability to set priorities, administer full schedules, and multi‑task

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Some dental industry experience preferred
• Dental assistant certification if required by state dental board
• Radiography certification if required by state dental board
• CPR certification if required by state dental board

Pay Range: $17.60 - $20.90
