Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team, focusing on multi-family and retail fit-out projects. This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager or Partner. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, capable of overseeing assistant project managers, and skilled in construction administration.

Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day operations and oversee assistant project managers on assigned projects.

* Utilize Revit 80% of the time and AutoCAD 20% of the time for project designs.

* Work through the construction administration phase for multiple projects.

* Develop conceptual and preliminary designs in plan, section, and elevation.

* Create 3D visualizations of design concepts using various mediums.

* Perform project site planning, zoning, and local code analysis, and application.

Essential Skills

* 3-10 years of architecture experience, particularly in multifamily projects.

* Proficiency in Revit.

* Experience in construction administration, having seen projects through from foundation to completion.

* Strong knowledge in drafting, redlining, and construction documentation.

* Familiarity with multi-family, mixed-use, and residential architecture.

* Project management experience.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketch Up.

* Proven client interaction experience.

* Bachelor's degree in Architecture.

* Experience with mixed-use and multi-family projects.

* Knowledge of elevator shop drawings, truss drawings, windows, etc., relevant to construction administration.

* Strong architectural and construction knowledge.

* Ability to manage junior staff and drafters.

* Capability to work from design development through construction documents and administration.

* Understanding of building codes, standards, structures, systems, construction materials, and specifications.

Work Environment

The firm offers a dynamic and engaging work environment with hybrid flexibility, allowing for three days in the office and two days remote. They are a growing firm with a strong pipeline of projects, providing excellent opportunities for career advancement. The firm operates with a collaborative team of MEP, structural, and civil engineers. The work includes mixed-use, affordable housing, and market-rate multi-family projects, along with retail work.

Employees typically start at 8 AM and work around 40 hours a week, with flexibility as needed to meet project deadlines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Cedar Grove, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
