This role supports Cooper University Health Care’s mission by providing education for medical students and residents in addition to delivering expert, family-centered care, advancing clinical quality, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve pediatric respiratory health across the region. The Pediatric Pulmonologist provides specialized evaluation and treatment for infants, children, and adolescents with respiratory and lung disorders. This role supports Cooper University Health Care’s mission by delivering expert, family-centered care, advancing clinical quality, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve pediatric respiratory health across the region.
EducationRequirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency program.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship.
- Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Pulmonology with experience diagnosing and managing a wide range of pediatric respiratory conditions.
- Prior clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology settings is preferred.
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary pediatric teams and providing family-centered care.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology.
- Board certification in General Pediatrics.
- Current, unrestricted New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Current DEA registration.
