OSF Illinois Neurological Institute is seeking a BE/BC Headache Neurologist to join a multispecialty neuroscience program including Neurosurgery, Epilepsy, MS, Neuromuscular, Movement Disorder and more. Join our established INI Headache Clinic and a collegial, highly trained team of board-certified neurologists, experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and dedicated support staff in delivering exceptional care to a diverse and clinically complex patient population.

  • Enjoy a 100% outpatient practice with Monday–Friday schedule, supporting strong work-life balance within an established INI headache clinic.
  • 36 patient-facing clinical hours per week with efficient clinic workflows and multidisciplinary support.
  • Opportunities available for:
    • Medical directorship
    • Research and program development
    • Academic and teaching involvement, with strong encouragement to participate in the continued growth and strategic development of the ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency in partnership with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria

Required Qualifications
  • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Neurology. Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fellowship Training in Headache Medicine.
  • Practice or research experience in Headache Medicine
  • Academic neurology interest or experience
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
