Overview
Adjunct, Speech Language Pathology. Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Adjunct Professor in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology to teach undergraduate and graduate coursework in speech-language pathology, audiology, and speech and hearing sciences. Some teaching assignments may include clinical supervision in the Center for Speech and Language Disorders. This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position located at the West Long Branch Main Campus, Monmouth University, NJ.
Part-time adjunct faculty typically teach 3-6 credits per semester. Courses are taught in person at the West Long Branch main campus (undergraduate) or the Graduate Center (graduate coursework). The position is posted continuously to expand the pool of qualified adjunct faculty; screening begins when an open position becomes available, and applicants will be notified of next steps if a position is available.
- Teach 3-6 credits during the semester.
- Develop and deliver course lectures, discussions, and assignments in accordance with the curriculum and learning objectives. The department provides support for course materials and teaching/learning strategies as needed.
- Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student engagement and academic success.
- Develop and administer projects and exams to evaluate student learning outcomes and provide grades in a timely manner. Departmental support for the creation of these materials is provided as needed.
- Provide timely feedback and guidance to students to support their learning and development.

Minimum Qualifications- Master2s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Doctor of Audiology (AuD for audiology coursework).
- Possession of a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Audiology (CCC-A) for any clinical supervision positions or teaching that awards clinical hours to graduate students.
- Flexibility to travel locally to other campus sites, as needed.
- University teaching experience.
- Experience supervising graduate students in speech-language pathology.
