Location: Moorestown

Full-time opening for an 8th-12th grade History teacher and advisor (beginning in 2026-27).

Teachers in the History program work in collaboration to design, implement, and revise curriculum. The ability to design and teach Upper School history seminar courses, teach AP classes, and coordinate Model UN is preferred.

Ideal candidates for this position will demonstrate:

An ability to create student-centered curriculum, informed by current pedagogical and historical trends that support independent learning and history skill development.

A deep commitment to working in collaboration with grade-level partners, department members and chair, and other relevant faculty members.

A desire to imagine, create, and implement courses that spark student interest in the discipline.

An investment in whole child development.

Moorestown Friends uses a teacher pay scale based on years of experience teaching and education level. The salary range for a teacher with 10-years of experience is $62,100 – $63,450.
