Monmouth University Main Campus, West Long Branch, NJ

• Coordinate, organize, and implement study plans with an assigned cohort of 5–10 student‑athletes.
• Conduct weekly (or more frequent) meetings with students, and maintain regular communication with the athletics academic support staff and coaching staff regarding student progress.
• Communicate with stakeholders outside of normal business hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Help ensure student‑athletes utilize all academic support services (e.g., Disability Services, tutorial services).
• Maintain a thorough understanding of NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations, as well as University concentration requirements.
• Perform other department‑wide support services assigned by the Athletics Academic Support Staff.

• Bachelor's Degree.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Experience in athletics and/or academic education support.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Understanding of the University's emphasis on academics and athletic excellence.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.

• Master's Degree.
• Experience in athletics academic education support.
• Counseling, Math, and/or English teaching experience.
