Adjunct‑Instructor, Medical Laboratory Technology

Raritan Valley Community College is seeking part‑time adjunct instructors to teach Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) lectures and labs starting Fall 2025. The instructor may also teach additional courses as opportunities arise.

Location: Branchburg, NJ (Main Campus)

Job Type: Part time; per diem; open until filled. Salary: $1,143–$1,174 per hour (commensurate with qualifications). Benefits: see link.

Responsibilities:

• Teach MLT lectures and labs covering microbiology and immunohematology.
• Ensure compliance with college policy, program policy, and accrediting agency procedures.
• Develop and assess student learning outcomes.
• Engage in continuing education to maintain professional certification.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a related field.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience and two years of clinical experience.
• Current national certification (ASCP or former NCA/AMT) as a clinical laboratory scientist/medical technologist.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in content areas and evidence of certification maintenance (e.g., CMP).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior college teaching experience.
