Description

We are hiring for K-12 Foreign Language Teachers, including Spanish, French, Latin, German, and more, for our main location in North Brunswick, NJ and for our Edison, NJ location that will open in 2024. While certified teachers are preferred, all educated professionals are welcome to apply to be a Tutor Trainee.

Our award-winning learning center, the most successful in New Jersey, is expanding our foreign language offerings and is seeking K-12 foreign language teachers for our one-on-one tutoring program. We also offer internal certification, so while certified teachers are welcome, all competent professionals in a foreign language are encouraged to apply.

We have a comprehensive training program that will prepare you well, offering you a stable, meaningful, and rewarding position

No writing lesson plans or grading homework assignments as all instruction is one-on-one, and all of our planning is done by the Educational Director and his team.

If you are a college graduate, teacher, or other professional, you are welcome to apply. We administer internal pre-employment testing to assess the best fit for you and to further evaluate your qualifications.

We currently have multiple positions open for immediate start!

Qualifications and features of the position include:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree and passing of a basic skills/cognitive assessment (No Current College Students)
• Teacher certification in foreign languages is a plus, but not required, just a high level of proficiency in the language that you would teach
• Part-time, flexible hours and paid training, as well as full-time options for those who seek it
• Availability to work at least 10-12 hours/week, part-time during the hours listed below, and working one day per week for an extended time is also okay.
• Willingness to work as a team player, and train as part of an already-successful program.

Center hours:

• School year:
  Monday-Thursday 3PM-10PM;
  Friday, 4PM-7PM, Saturday 9AM-7PM (You do not have to work all of these hours - this is just when we are open, but availability will factor into salary amount)
• Summer:
  Monday-Thursday, 2PM-10PM, Friday 2PM-7PM.

Other requirements include a positive background check and your own transportation.
