This is an on-site, contract role as a Program Representative and Speaker located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. The Program Representative and Speaker will be responsible for representing Summit at various events, delivering presentations, and engaging with partners, students, and stakeholders. This role includes organizing and supporting program activities, communicating with participants, facilitating workshops, and promoting Summit Institute’s mission. The candidate will also collaborate with other team members to improve program outreach and ensure the success of program initiatives.

• Strong public speaking and presentation skills to deliver impactful messages and represent the Summit Institute effectively.
• Experience in event coordination, workshop facilitation, or program management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with students, stakeholders, and partners.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, adapt to new challenges, and work effectively in an on-site setting.
• A commitment to fostering academic curiosity, ethical research practices, and professional development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, or a related field is required. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Prior experience in educational or nonprofit organizations is preferred but not mandatory.

• Represent Summit at high schools and educational events to build awareness of our research programs.
• Deliver presentations and lead discussions for students and parents regarding academic opportunities and the application process.
• Host and facilitate on-site workshops and seminars focused on innovation and ethical research practices.
• Coordinate the logistics for program activities, including scheduling events and preparing necessary materials.
• Act as a direct point of contact for educational partners and stakeholders to maintain strong professional relationships.
• Communicate Summit’s mission and values effectively to ensure a high standard of student engagement.
• Provide regular updates to the team on outreach progress and suggest ways to improve student recruitment.

The pay for this contract position is $400 – $500 per hour. Compensation is strictly applied to active seminar hours. Commuter benefits are included in the hourly rate. The specific schedule of seminars is currently TBD and will be determined based on program needs.
