The Designer, Instructional position plays a crucial role in enhancing our training programs. The Instructional Designer will work collaboratively with subject matter experts, trainers, and team members to design and develop engaging and effective learning materials that align with our business objectives.

• Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and update training materials, including eLearning modules, instructor‑led training materials, presentations, and other resources.
• Needs Assessment: Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct training needs assessments and identify performance gaps to inform curriculum development.
• Content Creation: Create interactive and engaging learning content that promotes knowledge retention and skill development.
• Learning Technologies: Leverage instructional design tools and technologies to enhance the learning experience, including eLearning authoring tools and learning management systems.
• Evaluation: Develop assessment tools and conduct evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
• Compliance: Ensure that all training materials adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Stay Current: Stay updated with industry trends, instructional design best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance training strategies.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

• Technological Proficiency: Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise and Storyline 360), learning management systems, and multimedia software. Knowledge of Zoom and Microsoft Office products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams required. Knowledge of SharePoint, Smartsheet, Canva, Vyond, Camtasia, and Microsoft Clipchamp preferred.

• Financial Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the mortgage or financial services industry is a plus, but not required.

• A bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Two (2) to four (4) years demonstrated work experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training program creation with a solid grasp of adult learning theory.

Ability to comprehend business journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Capable of presenting information and responding to inquiries from various stakeholders, including administrators, managers, employees, customers, and the public.

Application of mathematical concepts in practical scenarios.

Aptitude for applying common‑sense reasoning to execute instructions presented in written, oral, or diagram form. Competence in addressing challenges involving multiple variables within standardized contexts.
