Job Summary
The Foundational Writing Program is actively seeking applicants to teach undergraduate composition courses. The program offers two levels of developmental writing and the university’s two required Gen‑Ed composition courses, Comp I:
Rhetoric & Inquiry and Comp II:
Research & Argument. The position requires in‑person, daytime availability.
- Master’s degree in English or a related field.
- Employment contingent upon a satisfactory background check; candidates must sign a waiver authorizing the background check and provide a Social Security Card.
- Experience teaching writing.
- M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies or Literacy Education.
- Degrees in English Studies, Creative Writing, Linguistics, or related fields.
