Job Title:
PARAPROFESSIONALS
Reports To: Building Principal/ Supervisor, or other administrator if needed
Effective date: 12/01/2026 or sooner
Salary Range: Candidates will be placed on guide according to qualifying experience ($28,229-$32,854)

Position Summary: The above Paraprofessionals contractual positions are available for the school year.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Associates Degree; or have successfully passed the Para Pro Assessment
- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication and ability to assist with instructional activities
- Experience with students with special needs preferred
- Clerical aptitude and knowledge of information technology
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

Technology
Skills:
Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline Applications, and Student Information System.
Evaluation of Performance: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy.
Terms of Employment: 10 Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement. See above for specific salary information.
