Position SummaryProvide technical safety and health support to SJI personnel. Implement safety and health programs, coordinate training, monitor regulations, and support compliance. Assist in safety audits and recommend hazard elimination.
Essential Functions- Identify safety training needs and coordinate training programs.
- Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment is used by operations personnel.
- Monitor lost‑time injuries and workers’ compensation claims.
- Assist with post‑accident investigations to determine root causes.
- Motivate employees toward an accident‑free environment.
- Conduct audits of safety documentation, prepare reports, and follow up on remediation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in field operations (preferred).
- Instructional background or education (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and apply safety regulations.

Compensation Range$48,375 – $77,400 (base salary only).
