As a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in projects with the Power Generation Team and support a growing organization that meets client objectives and solves challenges.

• Lead and support electrical engineering on design of power generation projects
• Lead and support electrical engineering on the design of renewable energy projects
• Lead and support electrical engineering on power plant and switchyard electrical system upgrades
• Lead and support electrical engineering on federal electrical system upgrades
• Mentor and teach junior engineers
• Project proposal and budget development
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of detailed electrical design engineering experience, including calculations and equipment specifications
• 3+ years of relay coordination and schematic design
• Engineer in Training Certification
• CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by safety, health and harassment policies
• Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements

• Master’s Degree in Engineering
• Essential Professional Licensure/Certification
• Previous experience leading a group of engineers
• 3+ years of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations
• 3+ years of owner’s engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $73,100 - $125,400. WSP USA reserves the right to adjust pay based on experience, location and internal equity.
