• Marine Structural Engineer-in-Training to join our team in New York, NY. This opportunity is intended for Spring 2026 graduates, with the position starting in Summer 2026.
• Performs work that involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures or equipment.
• Assignments include design and development, testing of materials, preparation of specifications, process study, research investigations, report preparation, and other activities of limited scope requiring knowledge of principles and techniques.
• Works collaboratively with internal and external partners on multidisciplinary design/engineering projects.
• Coordinates the work of Engineers and others who may assist on specific assignments, as required.
• Reviews input from Project or Technical Managers and makes the necessary adjustments and corrections to work product.
• Performs work in a timely and effective manner within assigned schedules and budgets.
• Experience on all phases of design as well as provided construction administration/bid phase services is preferred.
• Field experience and ability to work with clients, contractors, and other disciplines is preferred but not required.
• EIT is preferred; ability to obtain within 1 year is required.
• Multi-tasker with ability to perform structural design and development of construction drawings for concrete, wood, and steel structures.

• 0-2 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• General knowledge of design software (Micro Station, AutoCAD, Revit)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good communication and technical writing skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

• Previous internships or work experience in the Engineering field

• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to maintain required certifications

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment
