Senior Principal Photonics Engineer
Our client is a leading maker of RF and photonics ICs and systems. They design and integrate an RF over fiber communications system for defense applications in New Jersey. This technology enables the transport of RF/Microwave signals up to 70 GHz over fiber.
We are looking for a Senior Principal Photonics Engineer who will develop requirements and specifications, and do design, integration and test of photonics subsystems.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, integrate, and test photonics components and systems, including lasers, modulators, and transceivers, to support RF over fiber communications for defense applications.
Requirements- BSEE or Physics degree in relevant field.
- 7-10+ years of experience in photonics design, integration, and testing.
- Experience with lasers, modulators and transceivers, ideally at photonic link level.
- U.S. Citizen due to ITAR regulations.
