Base Pay Range$70,000 – $90,000 per year
OverviewFlexcraft is seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. This role ensures our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. The candidate will bring a quality background and expertise in a plastics environment and a commitment to manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Own the quality control process, reviewing products, materials, and processes
- Conduct inspections, tests, audits, and document results
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and quality enhancement
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement improvements
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and ensure product specifications are met
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive quality‑related decisions
- Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Maintain accurate records of quality tests and improvement initiatives
- Develop and track key quality metrics
- Communicate quality standards and improvement strategies across teams
- Provide training on quality standards and control techniques
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Project management experience from conception to completion
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and time management skills
- Keen attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Ability to multitask and follow through on assignments
- Results‑driven with sound judgment and client service mindset
- Initiative‑taking and collaborative team player
- Flexible and responsive to urgent needs
