Job Overview
Join as a Sr. Systems Engineer (RADAR System Integration & Test) at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) to drive innovation in advanced radar technologies.
Responsibilities- Apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions.
- Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution.
- Conduct system verification and support certification activities.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to accomplish technical objectives.
- Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership on technical matters as required.
- Work in hands‑on laboratory or field environments; shift work may be required.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support site installs, checkout and integration testing.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or equivalent combined with 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience.
- Functional knowledge of radar systems, subsystems, and components.
- Experience with integration and test of radar systems, including functional and performance verification and development of test procedures and plans.
- High proficiency in use of MATLAB and Python for data analysis.
- Flexibility to work non‑standard work shifts and weekends as required by the supported program.
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
- Radar systems development and test experience, including signal processing, algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling & simulation.
- Experience with RF systems or antenna testing in near‑field and far‑field test environments.
- Knowledge of Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti‑Aircraft Warfare (AAW) concepts and design considerations.
- Familiarity with earned value management.
