Controls Engineer
Responsibilities- Communicatingwithprojectteamtorefineprojectscopeandrequirements.
- Definingsoftware/hardwarearchitecturerequirements.
- Developingdetailedfunctionaldesignspecifications.
- Configuring, programmingDCS,OPC,PLC,andSCADAcomponents.
- Reviewingcontrolpanelwiringdiagrams.
- Performfactoryacceptancetestingofhardwareandsoftwarea plus.
- Plantcommissioningsupport,pipingandflowsheetchecking,performance tests,troubleshooting, validation,andplantstart‑ upwhich might includestraveltodomesticandinternationallocations
- Desiredexperiencewouldbeinnewplantengineeringwithanemphasisonplantoperations,startups,andsafety.
- Experienceinairseparation,specialtygases,orpetrochemicalindustriesisaplus.
- WorkingexperiencewithSiemensPCS7
System (a plus). - WinCC or Siemens
- TIA Portal
- ExperiencewithET
200SP
HAhardware,and Profinetisaplus. - Experience with Emerson Delta V,Rockwell Automation,Yokogawa,ABB,or Honeywellaplus.
- SkilledinDCS,PLC,andHMIprogramming
- ExperienceinterfacingvariouscontrolsystemstoOPCServerapplicationsandcommunicationto othercontrolsystemsviaOPC.KnowledgeofgeneralpurposeOPCServerapplicationsfrom MatrikonorOSIPIisa plus.
- Engineering Degree a plus
- Hasspecifiedandorderedcontrolsystemcomponents..
- Travelmayberequired,bothdomesticandinternational.
