At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter. As a Project Engineer II, you’ll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history. Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life-saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.

• Supporting capital projects from design through construction, commissioning and handover while maintaining robust change control.
• Monitoring project scope, budget, schedule and engineering progress, providing clear reporting to stakeholders.
• Identifying and managing project risks, issues and contractor interfaces to ensure safe delivery.
• Preparing capital expenditure requests and evaluating alternative technologies and vendors.
• Contributing to construction readiness, commissioning plans and stage-gate reviews across the project lifecycle.
• Driving continuous improvement through analysis, root cause investigations and project performance metrics.

• Degree in an engineering discipline with experience supporting engineering or capital projects.
• Ability to manage change effectively while maintaining process and operational safety.
• Strong project reporting, budgeting and project controls interpretation skills.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, suppliers and contractors in industrial environments.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Self-motivated, analytical and comfortable working through ambiguity to deliver results.
