Civil Engineer

Your Opportunity Stantec’s New Jersey Transportation group has an immediate need for talented, team focused Civil Engineers with 3-5+ years of experience in specialty areas including roadway/highway design, traffic control & construction staging design, right-of-way engineering, access design, and utility engineering. The position is for our Mount Laurel, NJ office.

Your

Key Responsibilities Design roadways in accordance with AASHTO and NJDOT specifications and CADD Standards using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Micro Station and Open Roads software.

Develop design plans and calculations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.

Prepare engineering reports and technical studies such as design memos, feasibility studies, Concept Design Reports, Design Exception Reports, and Preliminary Engineering Reports.

Interact with and present project designs to clients, agencies, and the public

Work alongside experienced practitioners to expand your knowledge.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Experience with Micro Station & Open Roads, and / or AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

Work experience with public agencies (NJDOT, NJTA, PANYNJ) a plus.

Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in both small and large-scale highway improvement projects.

EIT preferred (PE is a plus)#INDInfrastructure

Pay Range:
• Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas-$85,000.00 - $ Annually Pay Transparency:
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
